Students are required to complete two compulsory internships, each lasting 30 working days, after the fourth (4th) and sixth (6th) semesters. Throughout the internship period, responsible faculty members provide guidance and supervision to students. In addition to production-oriented industrial organizations, information technology departments in the healthcare and service sectors, research and development centers, and management units of businesses are considered suitable internship environments for students.
The main purpose of these internships is to enable students to observe information technology and management processes within the scope of Management Information Systems, identify organizational needs, recognize opportunities for digitalization, and assess potential risks from a perspective that is closer to professional practice. Students are also required to prepare written reports summarizing and analyzing their internship experiences, allowing them to academically evaluate the knowledge and skills they have gained.
